An iconic approach to food design

Chocolate pencils, which was created by the Japanese design agency Nendo, combines two things we love in this office: food and design.

Everything has been cleverly designed to create a gastronomic experience from the plate's ceramic ridges to hold the chocolate 'pencils', to the sharpener that can be used to grate chocolate onto the desert. Each stage of the eating process is considered, while retaining a sense of fun and playfulness.
