Corience

Corience is a European organisation dedicated to the study of congenial heart defects in children. Research in this field has made huge progress over the years with over 90% of children affected being successfully treated. The name Corience is a combination of the latin words for heart - ‘cor’ and science.

The need to bring together various target groups was identified: patients and their families, key organisations, scientists and doctors. Iconic designed the web site to encourage communication exchange between the groups.

Corience

Iconic was also commissioned to develop a corporate identity for the organisation, as well as brochures, stationery, newsletter and exhibition stand. The identity uses simple forms and clear colours.

Corience utilises an independent European editorial team and is financed by the European Union, so the identity developed is deliberately differentiated from the graphic style of the pharmaceutical industry.

Corience

Corience will be introduced to some of the most important medical congresses over the next year and will be expanded into four European languages. This pan-European information exchange makes Corience unique.
